Poll: Do you support ceasefire and peace plan between Israel and Hamas?

Link copied

Recently, a report came out saying that U.S. politicians proposed a peace plan for Israel and the Gaza Strip. And one of the points in this plan is a ceasefire. I couldn’t find any statistics about this on other sites. I only found information that members of Congress and Parliament—about 70% of them—support a ceasefire and support this plan. That’s what I found on the internet; I’m not responsible for its accuracy. But again, ordinary people were not asked, so I’m interested in what regular people think. Do you support a ceasefire and the peace plan between Israel and Hamas?

I don’t really buy the idea that a ceasefire is automatically the “right” solution here. In a lot of conflicts, ceasefires just give both sides time to regroup and continue fighting later. If anything, pushing for a ceasefire without resolving the core issues can actually prolong the conflict rather than end it.
