Welcome to Referendum.social. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Referendum.social website and related services for the United States region. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Referendum.social is operated independently by a private individual based in Ukraine.

4. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Account sharing or transferring accounts to another person is discouraged. Creating multiple accounts for abusive, manipulative, or deceptive purposes is prohibited.

You may request account deletion by contacting us.

5. Permitted Use

  • promote hatred, harassment, threats, or violence against any individual or group;
  • publish or disclose another person’s private, personal, or sensitive information without permission;
  • create fake, misleading, fraudulent, or manipulative polls;
  • artificially influence poll results or engagement;
  • use bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated means to interact with the platform in an abusive manner;
  • attempt to interfere with the normal operation or security of the website;
  • violate any applicable law or regulation.

7. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including polls, comments, answer options, and any other material you make available through the platform (“User Content”).

You retain any rights you may have in your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to Referendum.social, you grant Referendum.social a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and make that content available on the platform for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the service.

8. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to review, remove, restrict, block, or disable any User Content or account activity that we believe violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or the integrity of the platform.

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts, remove polls or comments, and take other moderation actions where appropriate. We are not obligated to provide prior notice or a detailed explanation before taking such action.

9. Poll Results and Data

Poll results on Referendum.social reflect activity and participation on the platform only. They do not constitute scientific research, representative polling, professional advice, or guaranteed factual conclusions.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or representativeness of poll results, comments, or user-submitted answer options. Users should treat poll results as public opinion data collected through the platform, not as formal research.

10. Anonymous and Guest Activity

Certain platform features may allow guest participation, including anonymous voting where available. While we may apply technical measures intended to limit abuse, duplicate activity, or manipulation, we do not guarantee that all abusive or fraudulent behavior can be fully prevented.

11. Advertising and Third-Party Content

The website may display advertisements or links to third-party websites, products, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, products, or services.

12. No Warranty

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
