Inflation didn’t “affect” people’s money, it just exposed that most people never had real savings in the first place. If 3–9% inflation destroys your whole financial life, the problem probably wasn’t only inflation. People blame COVID, wars, politicians, banks — everyone except their own spending habits. Somehow there is always money for iPhones, subscriptions, delivery food and vacations, but when prices go up, suddenly everyone is a victim of the economy.
